Beyond providing a touch of stability to our chaotic lives, the Munchery Fab Five is about creating traditions around the dinner table. Build a family evening around your favorite—gather everybody together on Friday for a spaghetti dinner or have build-your-own taco night every Tuesday. These dishes aren’t just fabulous versions of comfortable staples, they are designed to be anchors in your schedule that unite your household around the dinner table.

Meet the Munchery Fab Five

Monday

It’s tough to be the best version of yourself on Monday. Unless, of course, you’re our Weeknight Roast Chicken Dinner. This classic dish takes Mom’s recipe to the next level so you can always start your week on the right foot. Just how far have we gone to make your Monday dinner excellent? Let’s put it this way—we start preparing on Sunday. We take the best free-range chicken and give it the royal treatment, soaking it overnight in an herb-laced salt brine to lock in moisture and infuse flavor. Once the week has begun, we marinate the brined chicken in a rosemary-herb mixture and roast it to juicy perfection.

On the side, we’ve included premium essentials. Roasted rainbow carrots and salted fingerling potatoes turn this dish into a meal that is simple enough for the kids and nuanced enough for the adults. Dare we say you might start looking forward to Monday…

Monday’s Weeknight Roast Chicken Dinner

Tuesday

The era of missing out on Taco Tuesday is over. Become the architect of your own culinary pleasure with our medley of scrumptious fillings: red chili short ribs braised to moist and flavorful perfection, red onions tossed with farm-fresh cilantro, pickled carrots for a hit of acidity, and latin-style green rice. Top your masterpieces with your choice of salsa—we’ve included both mild tomatillo and spicy roasted tomato salsa to help kick things up a notch. If you’re feeling adventurous, add them both!

Next time somebody asks you about your favorite holiday, you might just say Taco Tuesday.

Wednesday

It’s #WildCaughtWednesday, so we’ve cast our lines to bring you something fabulously fresh—our Ahi Tuna Rice Bowl. Poke bowls have become wildly popular world-wide, and our award-winning chefs couldn’t help but bring you a fabulous version of what started as a humble Hawaiian meal. As with all of our seafood dishes, we feature sustainably-raised fish—deliciously tender, wild-caught yellowfin tuna, diced, placed over a bed of wasabi rice, and paired with crisp julienned carrots, Persian cucumber, takuan (pickled daikon radish) and pickled ginger.

All we ask of you on Wednesday is that you drizzle on the ponzu sauce and prepare to transform mealtime into island time with a single bite.

Thursday

Meet the heartiest member of the Fab Five: our Carolina BBQ Pork Sandwich. Make Thursday your “cheat day” and indulge in the lip-smacking tartness of Carolina barbecue. We take premium pork shoulder and slow-roast it until it is fall-off-the-bone tender. Once shredded, it is tossed with signature yellow “Carolina Gold”, a robust mustard and apple cider vinegar-infused sauce. Complete with smoky paprika, chipotle peppers, and Worcestershire, this sauce brings rich, intense flavor that you’ll be happy to have all over your hands.

We’ll let you in on a little secret: the sides, a creamy cabbage slaw and crisp kettle chips, don’t have to stay on the side. Add them right in between the delicious buns for dynamic flavor and pleasant crunch. Sorry, but you’ll have to wait for Thursday to get your hands on this Herculean sandwich.

Friday

There’s nothing quite like sitting down to dinner with family on Friday night. Celebrate all your hard work with a meal around the table as classic as it is delicious. Our Spaghetti & Meatballs Arrabbiata is the Clark Kent of dinnertime. Don’t let yourself be fooled by its likeness to traditional pasta—equal parts ricotta and ground meat (pork and beef) make these meatballs melt-in-your-mouth good, deftly-seasoned with garlic, oregano, and chili flakes. The tomato sauce is spiced with the same herbs for continuity, and the dish is topped with crunchy olive oil-roasted bread crumbs and the protein-packed “King of Cheeses”, Parmigiano-Reggiano.

As soon as this meal hits your palate, you’ll see the glasses come off and the cape ripple in the wind, ready to help you take back mealtime.
