Hailing from rural Northern Vermont, I was raised on an organic farm and taught to respect the ingredient from the time I could walk. I left the farm to receive training and an culinary degree from the Culinary Institute of America, class of 2001.
Upon graduation, I migrated west, headed for the bay. I spent a few years in Santa Cruz and Sonoma before settling in the Mission district. Looking forward to all the plentiful work in the city I was living in, I instead promptly took a job in Mountain View, as chef for an assortment of Google cafes, including a year running the You Tube Cafe in San Bruno.
Four years later I set out on my own to create a dream business, a San Francisco based operation serving the bay area with my own creations. Elevate Cuisine Catering was founded in July of 2012, and I've been living the dream ever since! We create dishes from many different cultures and regions, preparing global flavors with locally sourced ingredients and classical training.
Then, in the fall of 2013, I expanded to a brick and mortar restaurant in the Bayview district, CDXX. We now craft all of our meals in our very own spotless facility, rated a perfect 100 by the Department of Public Health. Come by for a visit and say hi!
