Ahi Tuna Banh Mi

carrot, daikon, cucumber, umami mayo
4.4 stars
(9 reviews)
A tasty way to enjoy fresh, wild-caught ahi tuna. The tuna is rubbed with sambal chili paste, then quickly seared on all sides. It gets sliced thin and served on a Macrina bakery roll with shredded carrot, daikon, sliced cucumber, fresh cilantro, pickled green chilis, and mayonnaise mixed with soy and fish sauce to bump up those fermented Asian flavors.
