Bacon Black Pepper Biscuit

maple butter
4.6 stars
(218 reviews)
  • Nut-Free
A ridiculously crumbly and tender biscuit includes chunks of applewood-smoked bacon and freshly cracked black pepper. Bacon always pairs well with a slightly sweet counterpoint, so this biscuit includes a salty-sweet, maple-infused butter to spread on as you like.

So sweet for a biscuit! It was nicely made and maybe it's just my preference, but this was practically dessert!

Delicious after warming up in the oven - nice flaky exterior and warm moist interior. The maple butter is insane - they give you a generous portion and I used it on other things

This biscuit crumbles way too much! I could barely spread the maple butter on it because when I touched it, it would crumble into little pieces. More like a buttery pie crust than a biscuit. Disappointing because the taste was there.

These biscuits rock my world. They come with a sweet maple butter which is good, but sometimes I keep it aside for something else and just use a good, salted butter. My, my, my but these little pillows of joy really make a meal sing.

Yum! Chef Shelkowitz is a genius, a magician or both. I actually felt sad when I finished this sublimely moist, flavorful.biscuit, which has an amazingly luscious, velvety texture. The bacon is subtle and the pepper fragrant, w. a hint of sweetness.
