Most people only know brisket from barbecue or as corned beef. We found that, when treated right, it makes a great pot roast too! We pair ours with garlic mashed potatoes and an assortment of steamed veggies like Brussels sprouts, carrots, and pearl onions. A mushroom-infused gravy made from the beef's braising juices ties all the flavors together.

Too fatty. Turned to mush with sauce.

The brisket was tender and the portion size was nice, but I did not enjoy the flavor. Gravy helped a little. I did not eat much of the brisket, however the potatoes were delicious. Brussels sprouts were undercooked.
