You may have seen "burrata" popping up on trendy restaurant menus recently. It comes from Puglia, which is located in the heel of Italy's boot. The cheese is pulled and stretched over fresh curd, trapping it inside. The result looks and tastes like fresh mozzarella, but with an ooey-gooey center. It pairs perfectly with fresh heirloom tomatoes, shaved onion, fennel, and torn basil. Garnish with the rosemary infused sea salt then drizzle over the all-purpose Italian condiments of balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil and enjoy!

The burrata was perfectly soft and creamy! The tomatos were nice and crisp, but lost some water into the container which made the burrata and dressing a bit watered down

Added some Bibb lettuce cups and basalmic reduction. Then delicious. Worst part was the inderripe, not sweet tomatoes.

A nicely thought out dish. Simple, pretty, hearty and flavorful. A perfect light dinner. But make sure you take out oil container if refrigerating beforehand. The contents will harden and then burst in your microwave (as happened to me.)

The burrata was too small thus, making the plate too expensive. Also, too much of the basil leaves, overpowering other flavors
