Vegetable broth and fragrant orange are simmered with thinly shaved fennel slices, ripe tomatoes, and red peppers. Before the fish is added to the mixture, it’s sprinkled generously with dukkah, an Egyptian a spice blend made with ground hazelnuts, pistachios, and coriander. You (yes, you!) spoon the lovely mixture over some perfectly steamed couscous, which helps absorb all that yummy sauce. All you need is basic kitchen equipment (pots/pans, bowls, a knife, salt, pepper, oil) and around 15 minutes to create this elegant dinner for two.

Thought the fennel would be overpowering but was wrong. Loved using the orange for flavor enhancement. Delicious!

Too much orange

Very good, and not difficult (even for an inexperienced cook like me)

Not enough broth

3 bad tomatoes, fennel had no fronds, took 30 to make. Couscous and the veggies were tasty sauce was too watery, cod was rubbery and tough. Maybe better if fish were baked or pan fried or if it was a different fish. Portion is good for 2.

Followed the instructions, the meal was tasteless, the fish was rubbery (did not overcook it). The portion size was small and it took longer than 15 minutes to prepare and cook. Overall disappointed.

4 min on the fish was too long, ours was rubbery. Maybe update instruction to lower the temp. or cook for shorter time period. Also was lacking seasoning. The veggies and broth were a great base for the fish, would try again with modifications.

Delicious...only we were still hungry when we finished.

This was surprisingly good. It's not something I would have chosen, but it all worked. The addition of the pistachios gave it a great crunch. The color was nice. We overcooked the cod a little bit, but it was a nice meal. I would order it again.

Fish just overcooked following directions.

The instructions were missing for the second pat of butter. Needed to add salt to the sauté as well as the fish.
