Before all of the bells, whistles, foams and gels of the pastry world, there were molten lava cakes. This is a classic, tried and true, rich dark chocolate fondant. Just heat it up a little, stick your dessert spoon in, and indulge. I serve it with salted caramel sauce and if I may suggest: a spoonful of vanilla ice cream from your freezer if you have it, for a little extra decadence.
