Fragrant and flavorful nuggets of braised tofu from Hodo Soy are cooked in Chinese five-spice and apple cider vinegar. We use those as the starting point to this dish and let you add roasted pumpkin, toasted cashews, and a touch of maple syrup for a meal that has a warm and wonderful autumnal feel. It all gets served over a blend of steamed farro and red rice. All you need is basic kitchen equipment (pots/pans, bowls, a knife, salt, pepper, oil) and around 15 minutes to create this seasonal dinner for two.

The pumpkin was rock hard. You're better off cooking it first before you attempt any dicing. Poor instructions from Munchery. Also, if recreated, I wouldn't know how to season this recipe because all the flavor came from the prepackaged tofu.

Pumpkin was impossible to cut up.. please consider precutting into pieces.

Not a big fan of tofu. Pumpkin was good tho, but hard to slice

The pumpkin was impossible to cut, even with my best knives. I ended up making the kit without pumpkin, and it was decent.

This was a ridiculous recipe and waste of money. The pumpkin was impossible to chop. We ended up just throwing the whole thing in the compost. There's no way this is a 15 minute recipe.

I am guessing you didn't try out the recipe on your own before selling it? You try cutting that pumpkin?! Very unlike the Munchery brand
