Every culture has some kind of outdoor cooking tradition. In the States, we gather around a barbecue grill. In Spain, they lay a huge paella pan over a fire and layer in rice and other fresh ingredients. We've recreated that effect with this dish. Traditional Spanish flavors (think saffron, smoked paprika, and lots of garlic) are present and layered into rice along with spicy pork chorizo, roasted shrimp and roasted red peppers, green beans, and cherry tomato. Drizzle the aioli, squeeze some lemon on top and continue the Spanish theme with a glass of AlbariƱo or Verdejo.

Your meal listing fails to indicate that it includes PORK!!!! As such, I cannot touch this meal, and I now have to scramble to make my own dinner while my daughter eats. Epic failure.

Definitely tasty but with the combo of the chorizo and aoili in the dish, it lends itself to be on the salt side.

This is a superb dish! We barely used any of the aioli. It didn't need it. Cut the fat and sodium way back. Rice and vegies excellent. We barely sauteed the shrimp so it would not be overcooked. Fantastic! Of course, more shrimp always desired!

Reheats in the microwave amazingly well! Super yummy with or without the garlic aioli. Use the aioli sparingly as you eat if you're sensitive to garlic.

My fault really. I shouldve known when it says garlic in the title that it would probably have too much for my taste. It did.
