We take the traditional greek cheese grill it and dice it and serve it over a mix of wheat berries, lentils, cucumbers, tomatoes and mint. Then we top it with mixed olives, sunflower seeds, pine nuts and pumpkin seeds with a herbed tahini dressing to pour over all.

The calorie and saturated fat on this dish is off the charts. And nothing that interesting in terms of flavors here either. I’m feeling bummed with the vegetarian options lately.

Absolutely delicious. Balanced flavors and textures. Salad dressing a little thick, but when mixed into rest of ingredients tasted very good. If possible I would eadily eat this once a week. Very generous serving (actually made 2 meals).

The dressing was a little bland and overall except for the cheese it lacked salt

Slammin'. It was so flavorful and satisfying. Wheat berries can get old after a few bites, but there was enough going on here that I ate to the last little grain, even after I got full. The tahini didn't go with it at all, though.

Good salad, loved the halloumi (tip: warm the halloumi up). I didn't care for the dressing, but I don't like tahini. It was well seasoned enough to forgo dressing. It also was surprisingly filling. I could only eat half, and saved the rest for later.
