Tri-tip, that luscious cut of steak that doesn't get nearly the love it should, is the main attraction here. It's been marinated and then grilled to a perfect medium-rare. A few thick slices are served over roasted fingerling potato pieces with some seasoned mushrooms on the side. To top off all that yumminess, we give you some of our house-made buttermilk-blue cheese sauce so you can pour, drizzle, or dunk to your little steak-loving heart's content.

Other than the potatoes, this meal just didn’t work for me. The meat wasn’t favorable, the mushroom/onion mix was heavy. I think everything was just too heavy and tasted quite similar to one another, also the textures were too alike.

okay, not great. meat was a little tough and gristly. didn't use the blue cheese sauce (way too rich). potatoes didn't reheat well. mushrooms had too much balsamic vinegar. assuming it was an off day, as we've had very good tri-tip dishes before.

Tri tip needs to cook a long time or needs to be sliced very thinly. The medallions looked beautiful but were way too tough. The potatoes were too salty to eat, and I'm a person who enjoys salt. Between the two I didn't eve finish 1/4 of the meal.

Meat was very tough and lacked flavor. In contrast, the potatoes and mushrooms were very good and flavorful. Tri-tip is usually mire tender. This was not. Also for medium rare meat, the reheat thing is tricky - can alter the taste/flavor profile.

Needed more seasoning on the tri-tip. The steak did not taste as well as a steak coming off the grill but that is expected with a meal that is chilled and needs to be heated up. Steak never taste that great when you have to reheat it.

I had high hopes for this meal...then the Tri Tip was chewy and a little fatty..the mushrooms were over done with my least favorite meal.

Side dishes are little too salty for me but the beef was perfect!!

More flavorful meat. Fewer mushrooms and potatoes. Maybe add a green veggie.
