Fresh salmon is coated in red miso and ginger sauce, then oven-roasted until flaky and delicious. It’s served with cold soba noodle salad speckled with carrots, snow peas, and our favorite tamarind-ginger dressing. Flecks of black and white sesame seeds add crunch. All you need is basic kitchen equipment (pots/pans, bowls, a knife, salt, pepper, oil) and around 15 minutes to create this delicious Japanese dinner for two.

What People Are Saying

5 Stars
Good quality salmon. Tasty and satisfying.

The noodles were awful and didn't lend much to the dish. The miso was overpowering. I added spice and soy to the miso for a better balance of flavors.
4 Stars
Delicious! I wish it came pre-made so I didn't have to wash pans.
4 Stars
Small salmon portion. There were plenty of soba. Easy to make. Baked the salmon first with the miso sauce and then crisp it up in a pan. Moist. Salmon had no fishy smell. It was a fresh piece. Meal tasted great. Will order again.
3 Stars
The salmon was really good, but the noodles were meh. Overall the meal was just kind of flat, not worth the money in my opinion.
4 Stars
This dish with the soba was really tasty and a good combination of textures. I'm not sure where the salmon is sourced from. We thought it was a bit fishy tasting but otherwise a good combination of ingredients.
4 Stars
Salmon was great. The soba had something to be desired.
3 Stars
The salmon burnt really quick - maybe better to pan sear

Bones in salmon

I expected groin turkey -not turkey cold cuts!
5 Stars
Fun to make, fun to eat!
3 Stars
Portion has more soba than the salmon
5 Stars
Liked baking the salmon in dish instead of on a pan. Placed extra miso sauce in btwn fish steaks so I was able to spoon onto fish after baking. With the cooked carrots and snow peas in the soba noodles - what a visually appetizing meal!
4 Stars
Very good.

Salmon didn't taste fresh, odd texture
4 Stars
Liked everything but the sauce.
1 Stars
If there was a way to give this a zero I would. The flavors were gross and the lack of complex ingredients made the meal underwhelming overall.
1 Stars
The fish quality was terrible - we couldn't eat it
1 Stars
Quality of the fish was awful - fishy and inedible.

this was some of the worst salmon I've ever eaten. so bad I couldn't eat it. i think the recipe was fine, just the quality of the fish was very bad.

Last time we ordered this it was perfect! Thins time the flavors were off. The miso was too thin and the salmon was fishy

The salmon was terrible and made be sick. Very disappointed considering the usual leave of quality.

Miso sauce is a little too condensed making the salmon very salty. Portion accordingly

3 Stars
The salmon was not very fresh. The rest is fine.
5 Stars
Delicious flavor combination and the cooking instructions for the salmon were spot on. I made a mistake and poured the dressing over the salmon instead of the miso sauce and it still turned out okay.

This was really good and very quick! Will order again.
1 Stars
This was my first order of the cook yourself option. Awful. The fish was not fresh, the miso way too heavy. Very disappointing. Munchery needs to do better
1 Stars
Low quality ingredients. Snap peas were limp, carrots were dry and the salmon was down right bad.
