Succulent, roasted pork belly sits atop perfectly chewy ramen noodles, crisp, chopped bok choy greens, and sunny boiled eggs bobbling in a fragrant pork broth. All you need is basic kitchen equipment (pots/pans, bowls, a knife, salt, pepper, oil) and around 15 minutes to create this delicious dinner for two.

I was given chicken stock not pork stock so the broth of this soup was extremely bland. The pork belly was full of flavor and delicious but everything else was just ok. Also, I don't think the "ramen noodles" were actual ramen noodles. Disappointed.

The instructions said to use the pork broth but there was none. Instead there were 2 ketchup sized packets of what looked like chicken stock concentrate. The packets only had a picture of a chicken on it and no words. The soup was tasteless.

The broth was bland, might have been better with the pork belly broth. No radish came with the order.

No pork broth

Would have been really good but I received chicken broth instead of pork broth. Most orders I'm missing something but can usually make up for it in. The bland chicken broth was a bummer but the quality of the rest was great.

The dish was flavorless. Ramen comes with different broths, none of which are plain chicken stock. Even including white or red miso paste might enhance this dish. For us- this was awful and was thrown away unfinished.

something about this tasted odd and spoiled-- couldn't even eat it

Didn't include pork broth - instead used chicken broth and lacked flavor

I really loved the noodles, but was underwhelmed with the broth (which was a concentrate that got added to water). While the fresh ingredients were great, the overall result was bland. It also took about 30 minutes to prepare rather than 15.

Got chicken broth instead of pork, and it ended up being very bland.

Have more cooked. Also didn't have enough broth base

So bad. Soup was bland. The faces on my family as they were eating it made me feel so bad. Pork belly - I guess I don't know how to bake at 400 for 15 min. because they came out a hard, crunchy mess. Do not get this, it's a waste of money.

The pork belly was tender and savory. I had never had pork belly before, and I was nicely surprised. The rest of the meal was as flavorful and satisfying. No pork broth but there was chicken broth.

Absolutely horrid. Followed the directions perfectly and ended up with 8 cups of hot water for the broth. Luckily, I had Dashi and other spices to make something edible but I feel bad for people who rely on munchery to provide a complete dinner.

Loved the Pork Belly, nice fresh ingredients, but the Chicken Bouillon (which was used to replace the Pork Boullion) just didn't add enough umph to the broth. I had to doctor it up a bit. Other than that, it was a nice meal.

The most important part of ramen is the broth -- a prepackaged tablespoon of chicken stock doesn't cut it. The most tasteless ramen I have ever eaten. The pork was decent but I'm glad I didn't cook it as instructed or it would have been charred.
3 Stars
The pork belly was very tasty. The ramen had a great consistency. The broth had no flavor, and it took me 45 min from start to finish! I really wanted to like this dish more, but broth is a key component to a good ramen!

The pork belly was amazing, very tender and super flavorful. The recipe needs adjustment. It called for 8 cups of water and the broth but this left the broth bland. Had to add lots of salt. Would get this dish again but will add water to taste.

The broth was replaced for chicken at the last minute and in any case would have been too diluted to make good ramen broth.

I would have given it 5 stars but they had to switch out the pork broth for low sodium chicken broth. It was a pretty poor substitute for someone expecting pork. Fortunately I'm Japanese and know how to make tasteless broth into something delicious

Chicken stock instead of pork

Clearly something went wrong with the last minute substitution of the pork broth for chicken broth. The recipe card calls for 8c water, I only started with 6, figuring I could add if needed. It was still SO bland, tasted like water.

This is the second time I ordered this. The first time, we enjoyed it a lot and the quality was pretty decent for the price and the convenient factor. It looks like a few things changed for the worse since then (incld poorer tasting pork and broth)

The instruction says pork broth, but we got a chicken stock instead. The flavor was very light. The Ramen offered as a meal was so much better.

Mine came with 2 chicken concentrate packets instead of pork broth mentioned in the recipe. It looked really great and tasted flavorless and floury. I couldn't even eat it.

The first time I ordered the pork belly ramen, it was sold as a single portion vs. cooking kit. With the cooking kit, the flavoring packet was not pork seasoning as described, but instead was 2 little packets of chicken stock which was very bland.
