Each shank is slowly braised with onions, carrots, and celery till it's soft, succulent, and fall-off-the-bone tender — perfect for plating over our rich and creamy truffle mashed potatoes. Meat tender and sauce delicious. However, bad news is that prep instructions (to put meat on potatoes and sauce before cooking) and container (which has no separate compartments) result in potatoes dissolved in sauce!

i had high hopes for this but the meat was tasteless and actually a bit dry. threw it out. mashies were good though.

The meal was absolutely delicious but the bone was not in the osso bucco and this was a disappointment. Eating osso bucco and sucking the Cartilage out of the bone at the end is an essential part of the meal experience.
