Barramundi, a delicate type of seabass, is steamed over bok choy leaves with a preserved lemon-shallot relish on top. The result is a perfectly cooked piece of fish that’s incredibly flavorful. It’s served with turmeric-poached potatoes and more of that yummy relish that you’ll whip up in a snap. All you need is basic kitchen equipment (pots/pans, bowls, a knife, salt, pepper, oil) and around 15 minutes to create this wonderful dinner for two.

What People Are Saying

Amazing pieces of fish! The potatoes added nothing. We would have preferred a grain.
5 Stars
Fresh, delicate, and delicious fish complemented by the relish. Easy to make. Potatoes are a satisfying counterpoint. Instructions for ingredient portions are correct and pro tip is useful. Thank you!
4 Stars
Great flavors but not very filling. Add a baguette or some rolls.
5 Stars
Light, flavorful, satisfying. It was cool to see turmeric root. It doesn’t add flavor to the potatoes so save some relish or sprinkle with an herb seasoning. Set aside 30 minutes to make the dish. It’s very simple but that will help you plan.
4 Stars
Too bland for my liking, but I actually liked the preserved lemon (something new to work with!) and it was quick to prepare.

So flavorful!

This dish was put together well. There were no overbearing flavors. Together, you couldn't eat the dish fast enough!
3 Stars
Potatoes lacked a little seasoning or topping - turmeric was there but bland. A bit of a "fishy" flavor as well that even the relish didn't cover

The relish is really strong and overpowered the entire dish.

Did not get to try this. Got wrong dinner delivered. However the wrong dinner, beef ravioli, was very good
5 Stars
Great flavors.

Fermented lemon tasted like citrus hand soap. Yuck. Everything else was fine.
