Shrimp Scampi with Linguine

olive oil, lemon, & parmigiano
4.6 stars
(178 reviews)
Technically, "shrimp scampi" is a misnomer. In Italian, "scampi" means "shrimp," so it's like calling a dish "shrimp shrimp." You can call the dish whatever you'd like, but we call it delicious. Plump shrimp are marinated in roasted garlic, then served over fresh linguine from our friends at Cucina Fresca over in SoDo. A flavorful lemon-cream sauce coats the pasta perfectly and shredded parmigiano-reggiano is the ultimate salty-savory garnish.

The pasta was great but it could use a vegetable on the side.

I enjoy this very much - with or without the sauce that comes with it. Shrimp are fresh (tasting) every time I order. Pasta perfectly cooked al dente the way I like. Maybe include a condiment cup of chopped parsley for color.

The absolute best scampi. Ample serving, pasta tasted fresh, Alfredo? Sauce was incredible.

It was just not at par with the flavor of other Munchery meals. Very plain, I won’t order it again.
