Piquant, brined green peppercorns add their acidic peppery bite to a rich pan sauce over seared bavette steak. Oven-roasted potatoes and creamed spinach on the side make the steakhouse experience complete. All you need is basic kitchen equipment (pots/pans, bowls, a knife, salt, pepper, oil) and around 15 minutes to create this delicious dinner for two.

Creamed spinach was bland

Steak very bloody

This took so long to cook. Close to one hour. It tasted good except for the meat which I had to cook several minutes longer than was instructed to do so that it wasn't totally raw.

4 potatoes?

Food was under seasoned, bad directions. Had to mash the potatoes (which was the best part) and cook steak twice as long as suggested. Took 45 mins to make. steps like chopping parsley, patting steak dry & salting were missing. Meal was disjointed.

The meal was delicious...once it was done. The instructions were very misleading and off base. You can't say a meal takes 15 mins to cook when the potatoes alone take 10+ mins to boil and another 12-15 to roast in the oven. The math doesn't add up.

This was wonderful, especially the strange smashable potatoes. But the spinach was strange because the creamy sauce was weird and curdled and not very flavorful.

My husband and I enjoyed making this meal! It tasted great too! Nice contrast with the creamed spinach and steak! Reminded us of a high end dinner but much less and farm fresh meat!

EXCELLENT! LOVED THE SAUCE!

Following the directions, the steak was still VERY rare. Provide modifications for cooking steak to medium
4 Stars
This was very good, but I wish you had cooked it instead. It was hard to timely coordinate the components, so the steak got cold while the sauce was being finished and the spinach cooked.

100% satisfied! Will order again when it's on the menu!

Not impressive.... The spinach and the sauce were bland, and the potatoes were just okay.
4 Stars
Good taste but steak took a lot longer to cook than it said. So instead of 15 minutes for cooking, it took about 40.
3 Stars
Spinach with bechamel sauce did not work well
5 Stars
The whole meal is delicious, but the meat takes longer to cook than the recipe says.

Meat required more cooking, and we did not get the beef broth in the box
