Steelhead trout fillets are dredged in seasoned flour and then sautéed until crisp and golden brown. It’s served with steamed green beans and roasted fingerling potatoes. When you heat it up, our house-made almond-parsley butter melts over the whole thing. On the side: A lemon wedge for spritzing, if that’s your thing.

What People Are Saying

5 Stars
Reconstituted really well. I used an air fryer.
5 Stars
So good. Best trout I have had in years. Almost as good as my Dads when growing up. Loved it.
5 Stars
I’ve had this dish twice and enjoyed it both times. Fish as flaky and well cooked. Generous portion as well.
5 Stars
The trout was delicious, not at all “fishy”tasting. The green beans crisp, not over cooked. Fingerling potato’s had a little bit of salt on them. I definitely will order again.
3 Stars
A single fingerling potato seems a bit skimpy! Otherwise tasty.
2 Stars
Green beans under cooked & fish had a strong fishy taste, not usual in trout.
5 Stars
Loved the trout, didn't like the undercooked green beans.
3 Stars
Something about the quality of the fish just wasn't quite right. The flavors were good but I was pretty let down by the fish.
4 Stars
This was fine, but the trout didn't have much flavor on its own. Not sure if you can get any Mount Lassen Trout Steelhead? It was featured on the cover of SF Chronicle's top 100 restaurants 2016. Really quality tasting fish!

Simply delicious and a good portion!
4 Stars
An ample portion of fine fish, but only two fingerling potatoes. That almond butter sauce is sensational.

so-so. not up to usual munchery standards, we won't order again, but that's personal taste. unsolicited advice: chefs should ditch fingerling-potatoes until they look more appealing & less like an afterthought.or taste better.whichever comes first.

I LOVE trout and this dish is on point! Fresh tasting, perfectly cooked and the almondine butter was awesome! Would have preferred more green beans and less or no potatoes, but either way I will be ordering this on a regular basis.
