Tuscan Grain Bowl

farro, fennel, gigante beans, red wine vinaigrette

Italian cuisine features grains in more than just pasta! We revived farro, the ancient Roman grain, for the base of this dish and paired it with Tuscan kale, radicchio, roasted rainbow carrots, roasted fennel, and gigante beans. The bowl is garnished with mixed olives and imported Parmigiano-Reggiano before being tossed in a red wine vinaigrette. This grain bowl will satisfy your hunger, but won't leave you too full and leaning over like a certain Tuscan tower!

What People Are Saying

Looked pretty nasty when it arrived, and didn’t taste great either. The flavors were mostly bland, with the occasional tart or bitter flavor coming from the olives.

I would give this more stars if I could. Awesome flavor combinations and it kept well in fridge for next day lunch.

Too bitter & dill-y

Bland, with mushy beans. Not a fan.

I like the idea but it was super salty

Fantastic, but cilantro haters beware: the farro is FULL of it (extremely high percentage). Unfortunately ruined the dish for me, but otherwise would have been perfect.

Loved everything about this bowl except the fennel. Not much flavor and didn’t really add anything.
