"This was absolutely amazing... I can't even begin to express my deep love for this. This is exactly the way my grandma would make it. Now I wish this was available at least once a week on Munchery!"

"Very flavorful, but I find it hard to believe it only has 290 calories. I made two meals out of it and when the second half was in the fridge there was a lot of cooled fat ( which I love, but wonder about the calories as I count them)"

"As another customer mentioned the portion of sauce is woefully adequate. You get a bowl of base components with nothing to marry them together. Prep also says set aside ramekins one of which is the sauce. Is this meant to go on cold? Disappoimting"

"The dish is tasty except for all that black pepper. I actually wash it off the chicken before I add the chicken to my porridge. The other additives enhance the dish nicely."

"Every time I order short rib anything from Munchery they give me chuck roast. Still pretty good, but please deliver what you advertise! Also, so little sauce included I had to add beef broth just to cover ingredients."
— Michael Howard 3/09/18

"Adding more grapefruit, nuts, dressing and possibly chicken would make this more appealing and worth the price. It tastes good but there isn’t much to it. Very little jicama or nuts. Mostly cabbage. Kind of a rip off given how much cabbage costs."

"This has the potential to be a great dish. I thought the porridge was too watery, but the flavors were excellent. I had to add some of my own white rice to give it a thicker consistency."

"Flavor was great, but there wasn’t enough sauce. The photo does not accurately display the amount of sauce provided. It needs more."

"In what world does this feed two people? Admittedly, it is delicious, but 210 calories per serving does not a dinner make. And separating the yuba noodles takes forever. Prep time was definitely longer than 15 minutes."
— Emily Jeffers 4/04/18

"Well proportioned! Papaya, carrots, cucumber all exactly the same size, the balance of different veggies was perfect. Loved the fish sauce dressing, the crunch from peanuts and fried shallots on top. Only flaw was the celery was pretty dried out."
— Julie Parent 4/07/18

"Triple the amount of gravy. Ditch the rice."
— Stefani De Vito 3/16/18

"Was definitely not enough for two. I added egg and some other veggies to fill it out. Took way longer than 15 minutes. Just separating the noodles took 15. It was tasty, but the ginger was a little overpowering. Directions could be clearer."
